David William Lazar
David William Lazar is the current chairman of the American Mesopotamian Organization, a grassroots non-profit political organization which is dedicated to advancing the rights of Assyrians around the world. He is also the current President of the Restore Nineveh Now Foundation a non-profit, tax-exempt foundation. Mr. Lazar has been an Assyrian activist since his college days and has held numerous leadership positions with several Assyrian American organizations. In1991 he co-founded Assyrian Aid Society, the largest Assyrian humanitarian organization in the world, with offices and operations globally. Since ISIS invaded northern Iraq's Nineveh plain, Mr. Lazar has been in daily contact with his people on the ground there, monitoring and directing humanitarian aid operations and logistics.
David holds a BS in Industrial Engineering and an MBA. He resides with his wife and two children in Valencia, California.
