Tony Khawam

A seasoned marketing and creative director with over 25 years of experience in brand marketing and advertising for fortune 100 companies. A 10-year commercial real estate veteran with substantial expertise in capital markets, tenant and agency representation. Tony was born in Aleppo Syria and immigrated with his family to the United Sates in 1977 and attended Fair Lawn High School, New Jersey, followed by University studies.

Tony has been a lifelong conservative Republican. A grassroots activist since 2011 and involved early on with the Republicans in Bergen County New Jersey, then moved the business with his wife and thee children to South Florida in 2015 and became a board member of the Palm Beach County Republican Executive Committee. Due to a large community from Middle Eastern heritage in South Florida, Tony and a group of Middle Eastern Americans established in 2016 a Republican club called Republican Syrian Lebanese Armenian American Coalition (RSLAAC), the club is chartered by the Republican Party of Florida (RPOF).

RSLAAC mission is to promote the principles of the Republican Party in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade Counties, Florida. The club supports conservative Republican candidates at all levels of government, from city council to President of the United States. The club mobilized residents to register for the 2016 elections and was instrumental in President Trump election win of Florida.

Currently, RSLAAC club members are very active on the election campaigns that support President Trump's agenda for the following candidates:

Senate: Governor Rick Scott

Governor: Ron DeSantis

Congress: South Florida DC 18 Brian Mast, DC 22 Nicolas Kimaz (Lebanese from Zahle) DC 23 Joe Kauffman

Recently, Tony became a sought after as a guest speaker in South Florida Clubs and organizations on the topics of immigration, national security and its effects on US elections with a scheduled speaking engagement on current sensitive issues such as "Syria & Israel's Security and the Impact on US Elections"



1985 – Bachelor of Fine Arts with focus on Art History from the School of Visual Arts, New York City 1987 – Master’s degree in marketing communications from Montclair State University, New Jersey



2015-Present – Khawam Gallery in Wayne, New Jersey and Boca Raton, Florida with Tony’s wife Mirna Asmar as the gallery director. The gallery’s focus is on contemporary art for mid-career to established international artists located in a major international art centers near New York city and Miami. The gallery participated in major international art fairs in New York City, Miami, Boca Raton and Palm Beach, Florida.

2002-Present – Khawam Marketing and Creative Services agency serving New York City, New Jersey and South Florida with focus on commercial real estate.

1987 - 2001 – Director of marketing and creative services for fortune 100 companies, pharmaceutical, financial and commercial real estate. After graduation, Tony worked on Madison Avenue for nationally acclaimed advertising agencies that focus on marketing strategy and integrated creative campaigns.
